Tooling Overview ​

The following guide will have you install the following tooling:

  • Holochain Development Environment: The development environment required to develop Holochain apps
  • Weave CLI: A CLI (installed through via npm) to run Weave Tools in a sandboxed instance of Moss with hot-reloading
  • Weave API: An npm package, allowing you to interact with Moss through the Weave API using the WeaveClient class
  • (optional) Weave UI elements: An npm package offering ready-to-use elements for common use cases of the Weave Interaction Protocol
  • (optional) Profiles UI elements: An npm package offering ready-to-use elements around displaying and interacting with profiles of group members
